It was a fun weekend in an interesting place. I’d never been to Ogunquit and I had a chance to see a bit of the town. I enjoyed the meet and greet. It took me out of my comfort zone and made me be more social. However I will mention that while the group I played with were fun and friendly, many men (who did not know me) did not seem inclined to get to know me. Now I know it’s not your job to get people talking or make social connections, it just felt odd that some of this bearish group could not even offer a “Hello” or greeting. The Saturday dinner and show were easily the highlight of the weekend. Great performances, not too long or too short. Tasty food and yummy dessert. It would be helpful, for me, to know what the foods were exactly and even what’s in them. I maintain a specific diet and find it best if I know what’s in each dish. Breakfast each morning was perfection. Both places were amazing. My only complaint was having to go to breakfast so early. I wonder if one or 2 more planned activities would bring the group closer together. Maybe a movie showing, bowling at a local lane or some other activity. All in all, I thought Bears by the Sea in Ogunquit was a pretty special event. I hope that helps. Happy new year and all the best in 2018.
